Before the wedding season kicks off in earnest, my family and I decided to take a well earned holiday.
It had been booked well in advance and as the time approached I couldn’t help feel just as excited as our 3 year old Alfie.
We had chosen a good old fashioned holiday on the Isle of Wight. I had never been to the Isle of Wight before, but as my Wife had many special memories of holidaying there with her late Father, it seemed fitting to go.
Slowly the time, ticked round and it dawned on us we might just get lucky with the weather! From a photography point of view, almost too good! From the moment we boarded the Ferry until the long drive home, we had wall to wall sunshine.
It was a jam packed holiday, visiting all the famous tourist attractions including Shanklin, The Needles and Black Gang Chine. We were graced with glorious views, blue skies and sparkling seas, it was sometimes hard to believe we were on the British Coastline.
The photographer in me was spoilt for choice, with view after view after view to capture, here are a few of my personal favourites. I hope you enjoy them too.
